Window of Love.

This is  my interpretation of the Joyfull Crafts August Challenge - Colours of Nature.

I used an Assortment of Kaiser papers for the punch cut flowers and background.
All the edges and petals were inked with soft sage and baby blue ink by Memories.

I finished off the flowers with an assortment of brads, rhinestones and pearls. I also hand cut some leaves from pine cardstock then finished with smooch to give it more dimension. I hope you enjoy this LO, why not pop over to Joyfull Crafts and have a look. :)

Celebrate

This is my submission for the About a Boy August 15 Challenge.

To create this LO I used texture paste on the Kaiser Tree stencil then I sponged it with old photo distress ink, I then finished the tree with Perfect Pearl Mists in green patina & perfect copper. A drop of pumpkin liquid pearls completed the tree.

The base paper I used was from Prima - divine collection along with AC straw cardstock.
I also used papers from the Kaiser - Sears & Son collection and a mix of embellishments.
For the title word I cut this out on my lynx cutter then I sprayed with the green patina perfect pearl then applied clear glossy accents. I faux stitched the edges with my slick writer then inked it with old paper distress ink.

Berry Cute!

Hi! and welcome to my very first blog. Where do I start? New to all this... oh well, here goes....
This is a LO I did of my gorgeous niece Amelia. I wanted to step outside my comfort zone and use colours that I would not normally put together on the same palette.

I'm still not sure the colour theme works but I do like the end result anyway.

Paper is Basic Grey - Lollipop Shop and the cardstocks are from American Crafts - Peach and Powder. The rubons cute! is also from American Crafts - all of which scraptopia has in stock.

Flowers are a mix of Prima - Fairy Belle and assorted handmade silk and paper flowers made by myself. A faux stitched paper heart, butterfly sequin and pin finish off the cluster.

The Berry paper piece and strawberries were handmade by myself and available for purchase through scraptopia. I thinly handpainted rouge liquid pearls to make it stand out more.
To finish off the page I also used washi tape, ribbon, rhinestones and pearls.
